And im back.... Might be a good thing, or maybe not...:)

But i've always loved DA but never classed a lot of my work as art, so stayed away.

Now im determined to get a lot more into everything that i have some sort of talent in.

I dont want to regret not doing anything with what i have, be it talent, or some magnetism to an art.

So i will be uploading some works that i have failed to upload previously along with works i am currently working on.

After 25 years, this is my year, and im determined to make it so!

Wishing everyone a brilliant 2009!!

Plus, i have just realiesed i have passed the 2000 pageviews marker... whoop whoop!

Lacking inspiration..

Ok, so it's been a tough week this week as far as photography goes. It's just one of those times where there appears to be nothing worth shooting at all :(

I know that there's loads all around that could be shot and that it's probably just a state of mind, and that's what makes it so annoying.

Ok, so living in Hull doesn't help the matter, nor does it throw good photos in your face, but i usually love the challenge of getting a good shot from something that somebody else wouldn't normally see anything good in. And at the moment, im living just outside of Hull, in the coutry. You would think that this would offer up loads of opportunities to shoot varied and interesting subjects, however i have come to think that there are only so many delapidated barns, flowers and fields that you can capture before they become stagnant.

Anyway, if anyone knows how i can get out of this litle rutt, then please, please let me know :D

Apart from the moaning, i am still loving the new camera and have just recently bought a remote so that i can now take tripod shots without shaking the damn camera while pressing the shutter button (maybe i will get some new shots from this)

Now, just for a change, and to do something i have never done before, i am going to feature a selection of work from my watchers as a thanks for taking the time to look at my work etc.

Well... a couple of weeks ago i finaly got around to buying a new camera. All i have ever used in the past is a point-and-click jobby... However, after a friend really got me into photography i decided that i was gonna upgrade and start dabbling.

So, here i am with a new Finepix s6500fd, and im loving it!!! I ideally wanted a digital SLR. However, either through a sensible head i had on then, or the lack of patience, i decided on this "bridge" camera.

I cant stop taking pictures now, i love it.... All artwork is on hold while i deal with my photography addiction *tremors*... I suppose the only problem is that i live in England....home of drizzle... so the chances of good light are few (and usually while im at work)

Anyway, that's my ramble over with for now, and just a note to say cheers Alex :iconalex-b-ates: for getting me into photography :D
